"Empty Womb, Full Heart"

A sweet friend sent this to me. So glad to see churches are addressing this struggle. Pastor Gregg Matte did a great job.

Check out this sermon from First Baptist Church Houston - Part Three Empty Womb, Full Heart.

Psalm 113

 1 Praise the LORD. [a]
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD.
2 Let the name of the LORD be praised,
       both now and forevermore.
3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised.
4 The LORD is exalted over all the nations,
       his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the LORD our God,
the One who sits enthroned on high,
6 who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust
       and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8 he seats them with princes,
with the princes of their people.
9 He settles the barren woman in her home
as a happy mother of children.
       Praise the LORD.

  1. Me too! What a perfect scripture. It actually says happy...a lot of times you will hear that we find joy but not always happiness in our circumstances. But to see happy right there goes to show that God cares about our happiness as well! Our Daddy God so wants for us to be happy. The best part is all we must do is look to Him and He will settle the heart-He will provide the happiness where nothing or no one else can. It's so simple but yet we make it so hard. We fight it and yet He still stands there, arms open wide, ready for us to walk towards Him. Life it not meant to be easy; we wouldn't need Him then would we? I couldn't imagine going through anything without Him. When I am sad,He can wipe away the tears and fill my heart with song- He is the Provider! Thanks for sharing that verse!!
